Quality Assurance

Susannah Lamb
Quality Assurance Manager. Main responsibilities relate to quality assurance, including maintenance of the University's Academic Standards and Quality Handbook, programme approval, monitoring and reporting, Periodic School Review, the External Examiner process and the Quality Managers Forum. Bespoke staff development events are available to Schools on any aspect of quality assurance.

Derek Clarke
Senior Standards and Quality Officer. Derek liaises with the School of Science and Technology and the School of Social Sciences. He is also the initial contact on regulatory matters covered in the University's Academic Standards and Quality Handbook.

Quality Enhancement
Michaela Borg Michaela Borg
Research and Development Adviser (Learning and Teaching). Responsible for the Annual Learning and Teaching Conference and the Scholarship Projects for Undergraduate Researchers (SPUR). She also provides one to one support for colleagues who are engaged in pedagogic research.

Carmen is the Learning and Teaching Officer for the eAssessment and feedback project. She works on evaluating and supporting the use and development at NTU of computer based and computer assisted assessment and feedback practices.
