Awards, scholarships and memberships
Introduction There are many ways in which your learning and teaching enhancement activities can be developed, recognised and rewarded.
At NTU we have a series of opportunities for colleagues to pursue and there are many beyond the University as well.
In this section we intend to provide an overview of the range of types of award, scholarship and memberships that colleagues
may be interested in pursuing.
Within Nottingham Trent University
- Scholarship Projects for Undergraduate Researchers
This scheme offers colleagues the opportunity to invite students to collaborate in research projects by offering student bursaries.
One applications round is held each year. For details abut the application process and information about previous winners
please visit our SPUR web page.
- Awards and Titles: Promotion criteria and guidance
There are two routes to Readership and Professorship at the University: One is primarily research focused, the other is primarily
learning and teaching focused. Applications are invited every Autumn. View the Awards and Titles Regulations and Procedures document (.pdf)
