Inclusion: projects and related resources
In this section there are links to some of the some substantial work that has been done by HE institutions in the area of
inclusion.
- The SPACE project , a three year HEFCE funded project, produced a resource which provides some examples of methodology that can be used to
improve inclusion and accessibility as well as some thoughts around the topic. The project was based at the University of
Plymouth but also included six other institutions.
- The Assess4success project – Dialogue towards Inclusive Assessment at Northampton University has considered the issue of inclusion from many
perspectives and identifies areas for further consideration.
- The Rethinking the final year project and dissertations: creative honours and capstone projects, funding by the HEA and led by the University of Gloucester, aims to “influence institutional practices and assessment strategies
through creative solutions for developing accessible alternative and additional honours projects.." and thus meet the needs
of all students. This project also features on The Guardian's website.
