Welcome and induction event for new External Examiners

As a new External Examiner you are invited to attend a welcome and induction event at which you will be introduced to Nottingham Trent University's quality assurance systems and your role and responsibilities as an External Examiner.

The event will form three distinct sessions. The first session will be a central University event with a focus on University policy. The second session will focus on School level policies and processes. The third session will be with the course team and will focus on the practicalities of your role in more detail. Induction events for 2012 took place in February and March. If you were unable to attend these events a copy of the keynote presentation and Information for New External Examiners booklet can be found by link on the right hand side of this page.

Welcome and induction 2013

Two welcome and induction events will be held in 2013 on the following dates:

• 6 February 2013 - Clifton campus
• 6 March 2013 - City site.
