Section 4: Course Development and Approval

All University award-bearing courses are subject to a development and approval process.
Proposals for new courses and major changes to courses must complete the Business Planning process prior to academic approval.
The academic approval process involves the establishment of a Development and Approval Group (DAG).
During the planning process, the course team must consult Section 3 of the ASQ Handbook on Course Design.
Each course proposal must be documented and will comprise a contextual document, a course specification and module specifications.
Modifications to existing courses are delegated to SASQCS.
