Section 12: Undergraduate Award Framework
- The University has four undergraduate levels:
- Level 0 (referred to as Level 3 in the QAA endorsed National Qualifications Framework (NQF))
- Level 1 (C or Certificate) (referred to as Level 4 in the QAA endorsed National Qualifications Framework (NQF))
- Level 2 (I or Intermediate) (referred to as Level 5 in the QAA endorsed National Qualifications Framework (NQF))
- Level 3 (H or Honours) (referred to as Level 6 in the QAA endorsed National Qualifications Framework (NQF))
- Within the framework, each University award is defined in terms of level(s), credits and an award descriptor.
- All University awards reflect positive achievements.
- The following awards are defined within the framework:
- Extended Degree
- Exempting Honours Degree
- Honours Degree
- Graduate Honours Degree
- Ordinary Degree
- Professional Certificate in Education
- Graduate Diploma
- Graduate Certificate
- Advanced Diploma
- Professional Diploma
- Professional Certificate
- Foundation Degree
- Diploma of Higher Education
- Diploma
- Certificate in Education
- Certificate of Higher Education
- Higher Certificate
- Certificate
- Foundation Certificate/Foundation
