Section 17: Academic Appeals and Irregularities

  • The University has a policy and process governing Academic Appeals, (Section 17A) and governing Academic Irregularities (Section B)
  • These arrangements govern all taught award-bearing programmes at Nottingham Trent University.
  • The Academic Appeals policy and process were approved to take effect for all appeals activity from January 2011.
  • There is a new Academic Irregularities policy effective from the start of 2011/12 academic year.
  • There is a separate procedure for dealing with alleged research misconduct (Section 17C).
  • Full details can be found in Section 17 of the ASQ Handbook.
