Section 19: Placement and Work-Based Learning

  • All placement and work-based learning must meet the policy set out in this section of the ASQ Handbook.
  • All courses containing placement and work-based learning are subject to the University's standard approval procedures.
  • Placement and work-based learning must be monitored by course teams and Schools, and will be an item considered at Periodic School Review.
  • The responsibilities for placement and work-based learning must be clearly defined.
  • Placement learning can be certificated at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
  • Full details, including organisation and implementation of the policy, can be found in section 19 of the ASQ Handbook.
