Investigating the factors influencing the capital structure of the UK property companies

The project will examine the relationships between ownership structure, capital structure and firm performance since 2000 and compare these findings with previous findings in order to find any changes since the last property cycle. The main responsibilities of the student involved in this research project include collecting and analysing data from the annual reports of UK property companies and writing a subsequent report based on the analysis. It is planned that a preliminary databank about UK listed property companies will be set up through the project and will thereafter inform teaching on several modules within ADBE.
