An Evaluation of Good Practice in Blended Learning. An Examination of Student and Tutor Perspectives across Nottingham Trent

The project aims were to review the application of blended learning in taught programmes across NTU, and identify success
factors for blended learning integration, areas for enhancement and lessons to be learnt. A pilot study blended learning module
‘Understanding Property Markets’ will be developed using project recommendations. The pilot will be used for a further research
project which focuses on evaluating the blended learning within Built Environment courses across universities in the UK. Student
tasks included a literature review, refinement of research methodology, development of interview questions, conducting of
interviews with staff and students, interview transcription and analysis, and reporting including recommendations to University’s
Learning and Teaching Co-ordinators Network and CASQ. Opportunities were made available for the student to co-author conference
papers and journal publications.
