What to do first

Firstly we would encourage you to attend one of the introduction sessions. Visit the information sessions page or email for more information.

After attending an information session you would like to apply for a place on the award, you will need to complete the short online Acceler8 application form.

Once you have been allocated a place on the Acceler8 Award programme you will be sent an email informing you that you have been successful. The email will also notify you that you have been given access to the Acceler8 Award learning room on NOW. You will be using the Acceler8 learning room on NOW as a main method of engaging and communicating with the Acceler8 team.

Once you have been allocated a place on the award programme you will need to begin booking the required skills workshops. These are available through the Career development website and will carry the award logo. If you have any queries please email us.

You can also start to accrue hours of work experience and make sure all time is signed off on your award timesheet . Don't forget to start working on your Skills Development Profile booklet, recording reflections from each session. 

This year we are launching the Acceler8 student mentoring scheme. Students who completed Acceler8 Award last year will be available to offer vital support and tips to new Acceler8 students.
