Recruitment events

The Career Development Centre organises a number of events which provide an ideal forum for employers to raise their profile and recruit Nottingham Trent students/graduates.

  • Recruitment fairs:
    • Property Construction and Design Fair held annually in November
    • NTU National Graduate Recruitment Fair held annually in May
    • Work Experience and Voluntary Work Fair - Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences - held in March

All fairs provide an opportunity for employers to meet not only final years seeking graduate opportunities but to provide information to students of all years, and particularly those seeking placements and work experience.

  • Graduate Recruitment Programme - the Career Development Centre aims to provide a bespoke service to employers who wish to conduct part of their recruitment process at Nottingham Trent. This can involve giving presentations which enables you to communicate with large numbers of students, interviewing students on campus and drop in sessions which can be used as a forum for informal interviews or mini-presentations. The Career Development Centre can organise accommodation and publicity and advise on the best time to hold these activities.

Raising your profile

In addition to the Recruitment Events, you may also like to participate in our Career Options and Job-seeking skills programme. These are a series of seminars/workshops led by employers which provide an ideal opportunity for students to develop their job seeking skills and gain an insight into different career areas.

  • Career options - a series of seminars which take place at the end of October-beginning of November in which employers offer an insight into a particular career area.
  • Job-seeking skills workshops - workshops delivered by employers covering a range of skills employers seek when recruiting graduates.
