- Opportunities Online is a free vacancy service to employers, offering the facility to publish graduate opportunities, work experience, placements, voluntary and part-time opportunities, to the Career Development Centre website.
- Opportunities Online is hosted by Prospects Net - Registered Employer Module, which enables employers to submit their own vacancies online.
- All vacancies submitted will be processed by the Career Development Centre within three working days.
- The Career Development Centre reserves the right to be selective in advertising vacancies and all organisations must comply with current Equal Opportunities and Minimum Wage legislation.
- Vacancies which offer remuneration on a commission only basis will not be advertised.
- Employers should state whether they are members of the Employers’ Forum on Disability.
- The Career Development Centre adheres to the guidelines agreed by AGR – the collective voice of graduate recruiters; AGCAS – the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services; NUS – the National Union of Students.
- There is no limit to the length of time a vacancy can be advertised.
- No charge will be made for advertising vacancies on our website, apart from vacancies received from a third party - please see Facilities for Recruitment Consultants/Agencies.
- Specialist vacancies will be sent directly to appropriate departments within three working days.
- Vacancies can be emailed directly to courses for a remittance of £50.00 per course for employers.
Recruitment consultants / agencies
- The Career Development Centre will publicise vacancies providing the name of the employer can be disclosed to students and graduates in the vacancy entry.
- If the Agency is unable to disclose the name of the employer the Career Development Centre will be unable to advertise the vacancy.
- The contact details given in the vacancy should be that of the Agency and applications will be forwarded to them rather than the employer.
- The Career Development Centre reserves the right to be selective in advertising vacancies.
- Vacancies can be emailed directly to courses for a remittance of £100.00 per course.
