NTU Careers hold a number of careers events throughout the academic year for students of all disciplines and years. These include the Careers in Focus, Job-Seeking and Employers' Recruitment Programme, recruitment fairs and sector events. Below are examples of the events available to you. Making the most of NTU Careers
Is it ever too early to start thinking about your future? How can we help you? Careers in Focus
These sessions are a series of talks by employers and representatives from professional bodies, designed to give you a good idea about, and an insight into, the different careers available to you whatever subject you are studying. Sessions include:

Job seeking
Many recruiters have developed sophisticated procedures to assist in the selection of new employees. This series of talks, presented by representatives from major recruiters and careers consultants, will help you to understand and appreciate what they might expect, and give ideas and tips on how to prepare. Employer Presentations and Recruitment Fairs
Organisations who are particularly interested in recruiting NTU graduates and placement students visit the Career Development Centre, to provide you with details of their graduate recruitment, placement and work experience opportunities. Employability Award - Acceler8
In an increasingly competitive world, you need something that will help you stand out from the crowd and that's what the Acceler8 Employability Award will help you do. The award is made up of a series of workshops, practical experiences, reflective journals and a Skills Development Profile amongst other tasks.
