How CELS operates

CELS is part of the School of Science and Technology, in the College of Science at NTU. The college provides CELS with support in finance, academic administration, marketing, human resource management and business development.

CELS Advisory Group
The Advisory Group meets twice a year, with specific external expertise established to review progress and provide advice on strategic direction. It also provides independent consultancy regarding the Centre's performance and effectiveness.

CELS Management Group
The Management Group of CELS has as its primary role accountability to HEFCE for CELS through the monitoring of spend, achievement of milestones in the action plan, evaluation of effectiveness and risk management. This approach to evaluation will ensure the effectiveness of CELS, active use of change management principles and demonstrate value for money of the Centre.
