Communicating Science and Technology module
This is an opportunity for third year undergraduates to gain first hand experience of communicating science and technology
in an educational setting. During the module, students will work in local schools alongside practicing science teachers.
Through class preparation and assessments, students are able to practice gathering, processing and evaluating information
from a variety of sources. It is an excellent opportunity for students develop their skills in critical evaluation and in
the production of new teaching resources.
Students enrolled on the module will receive training in classroom protocols, child protection and will undergo a Criminal
Records Bureau (CRB) check. In total students will spend at least 12 sessions working in their school. The classes will range
from Key Stage 2 to sixth form.
