Protein purification e-learning project

This project involved the development of a new e-learning unit to support the level 2 Protein Purification module. Materials have been developed using Course Genie and the Loreus system, which enables the progress, commitment and achievements of users to be recorded.

The e-learning material, which was originally launched in March 2007, compliments traditional lectures by providing students with opportunities to access its interactive materials at any time.

On their step-by-step journey through the material, students will be introduced to ProteinLab, a programme that enables the user to experience the empirical nature of protein purification.
