Talk with slide show
This interactive presentation will introduce pupils to the structure of the human body. We will look at the skeleton and work our way outwards building the body including the muscles and major organs.

Important information

Target age range: School years 3 and 4 (7 to 8 years old).

Group size: One school class (approximately 25 to 30 children), divided into smaller groups.

Length of activity: Allow approximately one hour.

Safety: The materials used in the experiment can be bought off-the-shelf and all equipment is plastic. Risk assessments are provided and where possible.

Equipment: All equipment is provided by the visiting scientists. Access to a wall or whiteboard (suitable for projection) is required. It may be possible to supply AV equipment on request.
