Global citizenship in astronomy
Global citizenship is a feature of many subjects taught in schools, including physics and general science. However, in a subject
like astronomy, which is seemingly far removed from society, it can be difficult to imagine how global citizenship can play
a part.
At the NTU observatory we are developing activities that consider global citizenship in astronomy, as well as dealing with
some common astronomical misconceptions.
