Observatory outreach projects

In addition to our regular Open Dome Events, we are now able to offer a range of outreach projects that aim to introduce and encourage the understanding of astronomy.

Successful projects that have been previously carried out include, Distances in astronomy, Stars and their spectra, meteors and craters and Solar projects.

Projects that are currently available are:

• Global citizenship in astronomy
• Light and shadow - Our perception of the universe
• Solar prominences and scales
• Solar limb darkening and Sun structure
• Stars and their spectra
• Distances in astronomy
