Image taken from the NTU telescope

Above is an image of the Sun taken by NTU's solar scope at 15:50 UT. Both images only use a very specific colour that highlight
structures on the Sun, such as prominences.
A prominence is material that is thrown off from the Sun and follows magnetic fields along arc-like structures. These structures
are very dynamic and can change within minutes.
Included above are images of the largest planet, Jupiter, and the Earth to help you to judge the size of this prominence.
