These conferences aimed to support and encourage those wishing to enhance their portfolio of outreach activities. Delegates
had opportunities to describe and demonstrate the resources available and meet like-minded practitioners to discuss common

Science subject leaders' conference - February 2008
This conference, hosted by CELS, included lectures, seminars and workshops on fun and interesting science experiments. The
event also included a visit to the Institute of Physics's Lab in a Lorry.

open to those who study chemistry at A-level and beyond.

Aimhigher...What Next? - October 2006
This was a two day event open to Nottingham schools, which was attended by local businesses, organisations and Further and
Higher Education Institutions. Students were provided with information about career opportunities in a variety of subject
areas, including science.
