Outreach for biosciences

At CELS we have a number of bioscience outreach activities available to local schools. These include a range of wet-lab master classes offering pupils the chance to visit the University and to try out some hands-on activities that wouldn't usually be available at school. In addition we have a range of seminars that can be taken out to the schools to promote various disciplines within the Biosciences and show how Biology can be an exciting career opportunity for the future.

We are also keen to hear from teachers who would like help develop practical activities or are interested in learning more about the latest areas of research through CPD sessions.
