Chancellor's welcome

Sir Michael Parkinson

I am proud to put my name and energy behind the Chancellor’s Building Futures Appeal and call on all our alumni and friends to hand down a timeless gift to future generations; the gift of great personal and professional support while receiving a first class education in one of the finest city centre campuses in the UK.

Sir Michael Parkinson CBE, Chancellor

The future starts here

The Newton and Arkwright buildings are undergoing an impressive restoration programme that will transform the University’s city campus. At the heart of the project is the new Central Court and Link Building. The two iconic buildings will be united by a stunning new glazed centre court with a walk round balcony, leading from the new entrance conveniently situated by the Nottingham Trent University tram stop. Also for the first time, there will be a new and integrated Student Support Centre, providing the essential services that students need to get the best out of their university education. There will also be cafes and stacks of space where students can meet and mingle and discuss coursework and more.
