The BSA’s Teaching Group is pleased to announce a regional conference hosted by the School of Social Sciences at Nottingham Trent University. This event is aimed specifically at sociology teachers and will bring together a variety of guest speakers in an interesting and informative programme.

This session will be delivered in association with the Royal Geographical Society. It’s a Subject Knowledge Update on Brazil, Russia, India and China by Dr Simon Oates. This session, delivered by a RGS speaker, will cover the changing importance of the BRICs countries and assist the teaching of globalisation and development at Key Stage Four and Key Stage Five.
