Are you thinking about studying Economics, Finance or Banking at university? Then come along to our Economics Masterclass: Are Banks a Force for Good?

The event will include:

  • Information about the Economics and Finance courses held at NTU.
  • An engaging lecture on the topic of banks and the western financial system; this session is designed to raise awareness of how you study in an economics, finance and banking degree at university.
  • An opportunity to tour the NTU city site and meet current undergraduates as well as academics who teach on these courses.

The day would be an invaluable experience for anybody interested in studying a degree in economics, finance, banking or a business-related subject.

Priority will be given to schools and colleges in the East Midlands. We focus our resources and efforts on the following target groups:

  • those who were previously identified as being in the Aimhigher cohort
  • those who come from a disadvantaged background
  • those who are in receipt of free school meals
  • those who are from a care background
  • those who have a disability
  • those who are currently disengaged or, in your professional opinion, require additional intervention to increase motivation and attainment.
