This event is open to current Year 9 pupils in the Widening Participation cohort (previously Aimhigher cohort).

The Year 9 Residential Summer School provides pupils with the opportunity to experience university and student life by spending two days and one night at Nottingham Trent University.

Participants will have the opportunity to work with current NTU student ambassadors and find out more about life as a student. Activities include:

• information about pathways to higher education
• taster sessions in university subjects
• social events
• a student life challenge and lots more.

This is a must for any pupils in your Widening Participation cohort!

Please take note of the following information regarding bookings:

• number of pupils per school - ten (five male and five female applicants)
• number of school staff required for duration of the event (including overnight supervision) one male and one female.
