How to apply
How to apply
All applications to universities in the UK go through UCAS. You apply online by creating an account which then enables you to track your application throughout the whole process.
The UCAS website has the following tools you will find useful:
- course and institution finder
- how to guides
- video diaries
- case studies to help you with your application
- UCAS TV, which includes all of the above.
Applying
Before you apply, make sure you are aware of the following:
- You can apply for five courses either at different institutions or different courses at the same institution
- Entry requirements or UCAS tariff points for the courses
- Any additional tests or an interview some institutions may require you to take
- Deadlines and timetable for applications. Some courses have earlier deadlines such as dentistry, medicine, nursing and veterinary science, as do certain universities such as Oxford and Cambridge
Further details about applying can be found on the UCAS website and you can also download our UCAS document
which provides further information about the application process.
