For many learners thinking about their next steps after school or college can be a bewildering time. They are faced with many choices and can sometimes feel bombarded with information and don't know where to turn. With so many choices available it can be hard too for teachers and advisors to know what information to provide. Through the NTU Partnership Scheme, we can help.

We know from feedback that for many school and college students, having the opportunity to listen or talk to our team and current university students can help make this whole bewildering next stage become much clearer. The scheme is an opportunity for you to build relationships and work in partnership with Nottingham Trent University.

We can offer schools, pupils and staff our support through the delivery of generic higher education awareness-raising activities and subject specific curriculum enrichment opportunities designed to inform and inspire.

Our activities officers work with you to arrange talks, visits and events either in your school or on our University campuses. Our team of partnership managers work with our academics, to develop the subject specific events, and with teachers from schools and colleges to meet the needs of our partnership community.

Schools and colleges will be invited to become partner institutions with NTU, a relationship that will carry the following benefits or support:

For the school or college

  • A named individual within NTU will become your first point of contact and refer queries or requests for subject specific input to appropriate colleagues within the University.
  • You will get a certificate for your school or college foyer.
  • We will provide an annual prize.
  • You can have an NTU presence at prizegiving or award ceremonies.
