Professional development
The NTU Partnership Scheme offers continual professional development opportunities for teachers and advisers.
We recognise that the expertise and resources available at NTU could be valuably used to create opportunities for teachers in our partner schools to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Whether this is a master-class to bring you up to speed on the latest developments in your subject, an update on issues in higher education or more information about new courses at NTU we will be providing opportunities for teachers within our partner schools.
Sign up to our newsletter for the latest news and opportunities.
Our series of distinguished lectures also provides opportunities for teachers within our partnership community to hear some excellent speakers. Past speakers have ranged from Baroness Estelle Morris (Amidst great changes... what might higher education look like at the end of the decade?) to Professor Sir Alec Jeffreys (Genetic fingerprinting and beyond).
Our School of Education, one of the UK’s leading providers of education and teacher training courses, has a range of opportunities to support teachers in their ongoing professional development and opportunities for postgraduate and professional qualifications.
