CPLD now offers consultancy services aimed at assisting and supporting managers in developing effective, high performing teams. This provision can be represented by two different types of role:

  1. The Consultant role provides internal consultancy based on CPLD’s expertise and practical skills. This may include programme development and delivery.
  2. The Partner role provides internal consultancy based on collaborative partnerships with internal clients including programme development.

Both roles can include:

  • advice regarding training needs analysis, format and content
  • facilitation of activities within longer events
  • advice on the types of development available to suit all learning styles
  • help with the structure and content of events.

It can take the form of such activities as:

  • working with managers to design development days for their teams and then helping to facilitate the day
  • advice on the most appropriate types of development in line with required outcomes and learning styles
  • advice and support to identify the learning and development needs of team and individuals and the production of the resulting learning and development plans.
