Dynamics

Dynamics is the customer relationship management system (CRM) that has recently been introduced by NTU. In the first instance it is being used to manage enquiries from prospective students which are received by the University. The main aim of introducing this system is to try and improve the relationship between Nottingham Trent University and its customers. This is a Microsoft product which integrates with Outlook.

Target audience
Currently this is only for staff who manage enquiries from prospective students. This includes admissions, subject administration and marketing.

What types of activity do we deliver or support in this area of work?
Currently there is an introduction course hosted through NOW and one classroom based training session.

Facility

Facility is the timetabling database which is used throughout the University to manage the academic timetable. It is also used to manage one off room bookings. There is a team in each College who manage the academic timetable as well as a team within the Academic Office.

Target audience
This service is relevant to any timetablers within NTU. It is also relevant to all those who want to be able to view the timetable and make one-off bookings.

We run several courses on Facility all of which are classroom-based.
