Designed around our students' vision for their Union, the new SU building will be an inspiring environment for students and will deliver first class facilities.

The proposed scheme provides 5,500 square metres of social, leisure and wellbeing facilities, plus living accommodation. Facilities will include:

Comment from the President of the Students’ Union

Jonny Ellison, president of NTSU, said: "The students' union has carried out a lot of research with its membership to help us build a better understanding of what students expect, and want from their facilities. We were then given the opportunity to share our findings with the University, allowing us to have a direct influence over the design and purpose of the building."

The new students' Union building will be ready for the new academic year in 2013.
