Students' Union

The Students' Union is the heart of student life at NTU. Not only does it guarantee you a great evening's entertainment almost any night of the week, but it's also the place to go for clubs, food, advice and much more.

From student rights to student nights

Whatever campus you're on, when you pop into the Students' Union you'll find loads of handy stuff under one roof.

At the City site, there's the Job Shop, the Print Shop, a cafe, two bars and a shop that sells snacks, drinks, newspapers and NTU's own line in clothing. You'll also find the Students' Union offices, a radio and TV station and Platform magazine.

Over at Clifton campus, the Students' Union has a Student Advice Centre, The Job Shop, campus shop, bank, bar and diner. Meanwhile at Brackenhurst, you'll find the Brack Bar, The Orangery Café, a campus shop, Student Advice Centre and The Job Shop.

Get involved in your Students' Union

You can get involved in lots of different ways, from volunteering on community programmes to raising money as part of RAG (raising and giving). You can also work for the Students' Union, as part of the Entertainments team, as security staff or behind the bar.

You can also get involved with the student magazine, TV and radio station or even help with running the Students' Union itself.
