Exam periods Academic Year 2012/13
The University's main exam periods for 2012/13 are scheduled to take place as shown below.

Main Examination period: 13 May – 7 June 2013
Resit Examinations: 27 August – 6 September 2013

Please note that during the above periods exams may be scheduled during the day, evenings, Saturdays or on a day where you may not usually attend classes.

Some Schools may also hold ad-hoc exams outside the above periods, please consult your Subject Administrator for further clarification.

Your responsibilities as a student
It is extremely important to be aware of your responsibilities as a student, including:

To be familiar with the University's exam regulations.
To find out the date, time and location of your exams.
To bring your student ID card with you to all exams. Candidates who fail to bring their ID will be reported to the Examinations Office for identification purposes.
To arrive in plenty of time (at least 20 minutes before) prior to the examination.
To make sure you have the right equipment with you.

Individual Exam Arrangements
If you wish to apply for individual examination arrangements due to a disability, injury or on-going condition which could affect your exam performance, you should initially discuss your position with your programme leader or Subject Administrator.

Your School will liaise with Student Support Services and Academic Registry, where necessary, to ensure that any requirements received by the deadline have the relevant adjustments made for your examinations.
