The Hive is the University’s purpose built Centre for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise, based in the heart of the city in the Maudslay building and with access to facilities at Brackenhurst and Clifton. If you have a good business idea The Hive can help you to make it a reality. They provide comprehensive training and support such as one-to-one mentoring and business advice as well as office facilities to help get your business off the ground.

The HeadStart programme is a short course that will help you evaluate the potential of your idea, develop a business plan and allow you to assess whether it could be successful. With a plan in place, the SmarTrak programme provides mentoring and support over a three year period to help get your business established.
If you want to develop a business idea while you are studying, the Placement Programme gives you the opportunity to use your placement period to work on your ideas.
