The Initi8 project is a partnership between Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham Trent Students Union, delivering a diverse range of high quality volunteering opportunities for students.
Initi8 volunteering has something for everybody! It is here to support you in developing your interest and your passions, so you can make a difference.
We've got loads for you to get involved with, no matter what your interest and no matter how much time you can commit. There are three ways to get involved:
Volunteering gives you loads of benefits, both personally and course-related, and can be a great way to meet new people and have fun! You will also get the satisfaction of knowing that you have done something really worthwhile in your local community during your time at University!
As you put a lot of your time and effort into volunteering, we like to make sure that we put our time back into you. We do this by offering lots of support and development throughout the year.

Student Volunteering Week - Initi8 Volunteer Fair
Date: Monday 20 February 2012
Time: 11 am – 1.15 pm
Place: Newton Building Foyer, City site
Various organisations will be attending, including those that work in the areas of art, sport, young people, mentoring and criminal justice, so stop by and speak to some of our community partners about their various schemes. The NTU volunteering team will also be available for information regarding all volunteering opportunities available.
