Postgraduate Outreach Assistant Scheme
Overview
NTU deliver a vast programme of aspiration and attainment raising activities and events to local schools, colleges and academies. As part of this we are looking to recruit a number of Outreach Assistants to complement the existing work of our academic staff in the delivery of subject specific activities.
Outreach Assistants will receive training and be fully supported to design an interactive master class or taster session based on their course subject specialism. The aim of these sessions is to inspire young people about a diverse range of subjects and give them insight into the opportunities available through higher education study and beyond.
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to share your passion for your subject with others, gain valuable teaching experience as part of your post-graduate programme and to help make a difference in your local community.
Location
Master class sessions may be delivered at NTU or in local schools and colleges.
