Bike Hire for NTU students
Ucycle student bike hire is a great way for NTU students to get to and around the University quickly, cheaply and healthily! Men's and women's bikes are available in different sizes and can be hired for the whole academic year for just £35 (plus a £60 refundable deposit).
*Special Spring Offer* hire a bike for the Spring/Summer term for the bargain price of £20 (plus refundable deposit). Terms and conditions still apply as below.
How does the scheme work?
- Bikes are available to hire between October and June.
- Hirers must be students at Nottingham Trent University.
- A hire agreement needs to be signed and the hire fee and deposit paid on receipt of the hire bike.
- Hirers are advised to take out insurance. Ucycle Nottingham can give guidance on who are the best insurance companies to go with for cycle cover, a list of which is included in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document below.
- Hirers will be offered a full complementary package. This will include a maintenance session, access to free Ridewise training and advice and information (through information packs and general on-going support such as our drop-in surgeries).
- Initial hire fee is £95 of which £60 will be refunded when the bike is returned (subject to terms and conditions
and bike return checklist ).
