Current and future threats to our environment are a major concern of our students and our staff. We seek to develop positive solutions for these environmental challenges through our curricula, our research, the way we work and how we manage our resources.

Ucycle scheme
We run a bike hire scheme for all staff and students where you can hire a bike from just £35 a year. Or you can buy one and get money off through Cyclescheme.

The University is currently undertaking feasibility work to investigate installing wind turbines at Brackenhurst campus.

NTU's Peregrine falcons have returned for another year. You can get an insight into the lives of these magnificent birds with our live Falcon webcams.
Carbon Elephant
We have set ourselves a challenging target to reduce our carbon footprint by 48% by 2020. To meet this target we are implementing various carbon reduction projects involving staff and students across the University.
