Education-related qualifications

If you are currently working in an educational support role in a school, college or training environment and wish to extend your academic learning or want to gain graduate status, we offer part-time undergraduate courses.

Subject knowledge courses for teachers - Teaching Agency (formerly TDA) funded

If you are a qualified teacher who is currently teaching mathematics or modern foreign languages, but don't have a conventional background in these subjects, we offer subject knowledge courses that will enable you to develop your knowledge and approaches to teaching mathematics or languages. These courses are also ideal for those returning to education who want to teach these subject areas.

Assessment Only Route to QTS

Ideal for experienced graduates with substantial teaching experience, this short course is a route to gain Qualified Teaching Status through an assessment of your current teaching.

Higher education practitioners

For those who are already employed in a teaching post within higher education who want to continue their professional development, we offer a one-year part-time accredited course to become a Higher Education Academy (HEA) registered practitioner.

Post-compulsory education and training

Ideal for those working or who want to work as teachers or trainers in a range of post-compulsory educational settings from higher/further education to public or private sector work-based learning.

Postgraduate qualifications

Whether you are a graduate working as a teacher or work within an organisation with an educational focus we provide postgraduate courses to enable you to develop a real expertise in your field, support your professional interests and advance your career.
