The Centre for Contemporary Play
The Centre for Contemporary Play (CCP) seeks to stimulate innovation across the area of digital play, encompassing computer and videogames. The CCP has been established by NTU as a cross-University Research and Knowledge Transfer Centre to combine academic research, consultancy, and entertainment with education programmes.
The centre will promote academic and practitioner-based research across Schools in the University and provide resources to projects for funding exploratory research before bids are submitted to external funding bodies. The Schools currently involved in the CCP are:
- School of Arts and Humanities
- School of Education
- School of Science and Technology
- School of Social Sciences
