The majority of courses are taught in either the Ada Byron King or Lionel Robbins buildings at our Clifton campus. This is a self-contained Greenfield site, offering an excellent range of services to students. These include:
- a convenience store
- a bookshop
- a refectory, cafe and pub
- extensive sport facilities
- accommodation blocks housing more than 1,400 study bedrooms (most with en-suite facilities).

The Centre for Design and Technology Education is based in the Maudslay building and provides teacher training facilities for design and technology specialists. Courses taught in this facility are:
- BSc (Hons) Design and Technology Education
- PGCE (Secondary) Design and Technology
- PGCE (Secondary) Engineering
Travelling to Nottingham
Nottingham Trent University is centrally located in England and benefits from excellent national and international transport links.
At the heart of the UK, Nottingham is well served by the motorway network. The M1 passes close to the west of the city, the A42 / M42 link to the south-west of the city and the A1 (M) to the east of the county.
Nottingham East Midlands Airport is only 30 minutes from the city centre, offering national and international flights. Getting to Nottingham from the airport is easy and fast by train, car or the local bus service.
There are frequent rail services from most UK cities including a high speed train every 30 minutes connecting Nottingham to the capital in less than two hours. See National Rail Enquiries to book your journey.
