SHARE JISC project

We are extending the University's repository infrastructure to include Learning Object Repository (LOR) services. This project will integrate the business, administrative and technical processes necessary to enable academic use of the LOR. The project also aims to develop effective management of the LOR in our virtual learning environment, NOW.

This two-year project is taking place with Desire2Learn who are investing in technical development. The partnership draws on the work of our LOR Working Group who have been preparing for the release of the LOR tools in NOW during the next academic year.
