Learning and teaching strategy
eLearning and the Institutional Learning and Teaching Enhancement Strategy (ILTES)
The Institutional Learning and Teaching Enhancement Strategy (ILTES) prioritises the embedding of learning technologies to support learning and teaching across the University. This approach places pedagogy as the driver of curriculum design and learning technologies as important tools for enabling effective and flexible delivery. Our approach to curriculum design is informed by a constructive alignment of learning outcomes with learning activities and assessments drawing on a range of online resources.
Good eLearning design uses eTools to deliver effective eLearning activities and eResources. Promoting effective learning is the key goal. To find out more about eLearning strategy visit either the Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) approach pages or the Higher Education Academy (HEA) Enhancing Learning through Technology section.
