Virtual Learning Environment Phase Three
September 2008 marked the successful launch of the NTU online workspace NOW for staff and student use at the beginning of the academic year. A number of outstanding tasks requiring the input of a wider group of colleagues prompted the extension of the project until the end of 2008. MSC in Biomedical Science (Flexible programme)
Find out about the first fully online MSc to be offered by NTU. The first two modules of the programme were launched in October 2008 with the other nine modules due for release during 2009.
Virtual Communities Project
The aim of this project is to produce web-based resource to deliver a set of virtual communities based in Nottingham and the surrounding areas with links to associated electronic resources. Find out who is involved.
Online Health and Safety Quiz
In October 2008, students on the first year fashion programme, in the School of Art and Design, were given a health and safety awareness presentation on safe working practices. They are currently being encouraged to participate in a quiz in order to reinforce the points raised in this presentation. Find out how this project is being hosted.
Statistics Tutorial
Discover the statistical tutorial organised into three comprehensive units to get you started:
- The first unit will define and explain everyday statistical terms and concepts.
- The second will introduce you to descriptions and working examples of eight types of statistical methods.
- The third unit of the tutorial presents two student activities.
