At the heart of the learning and development programme is Equality and Dignity at NTU. All NTU staff are strongly encouraged to attend this key element of this programme, which runs regularly throughout the year on all campuses. For staff with managerial responsibilities, the equivalent module is Managing Equality and Dignity at NTU.

Our courses

Equality and Dignity at NTU
Equality and Dignity at NTU is the foundation course of the equality and diversity learning and development programme for NTU staff. It takes account of key underpinning principles of equality and dignity at work as well as introducing staff to the latest developments in these areas. This course has been specifically designed to equip staff with core competencies in equality and diversity.

This course is now being delivered via bespoke sessions across Schools and Professional Service Areas. This will allow staff to be trained in their organisational teams and allow the training to be tailored to the particular needs of each area of the University. As a result, this course will no longer run as a public session.

Communicating with Care
