Dignity at Work Policy
The purpose of the Dignity at Work agenda at NTU is to support and guide the University in promoting a working and learning environment and culture in which all are treated with dignity, courtesy, respect and consideration. The agenda includes:
Policy statements within the Equality, Diversity and Dignity Policy
The Equality, Diversity and Dignity policy, which will be available from early 2013, brings together the values and aspirations of the previously separate 'Equality and Diversity' and 'Dignity at Work' policies into one document. As with the earlier Dignity at Work policy, it focuses attention on the continuous positive transformation of the environment, to support the University's mission in shaping lives and nurturing innovation and success.
To this end, the policy sets out the following Positive Behaviours as signposts for our individual and collective development:
- respecting others and their identity
- behaving with integrity
- communicating with care.
