Fees 2012

What is changing?
Course fees, also known as tuition fees, are changing for UK and EU undergraduate students because the Government is reducing funding contributions for students in higher education. Universities must set their own fees, up to a maximum of £9,000 a year, from 1 September 2012.

Who is affected?
The changes to tuition fees will only affect those UK and EU undergraduate students starting a new course after 1 September 2012. If you join NTU before this date, you will not be affected by the changes to student fees and funding that the Government is introducing. Arrangements for part-time undergraduate students will be announced in due course.

Our fees explained

Going to university is a great investment in your future. In fact, the Office for National Statistics recently reported that people with degrees earned an average of £12,000 a year more than non-graduates over the past decade. At NTU we are committed to giving you the best possible return on your investment. However, you also have a role to play. By working together we can ensure that you leave NTU as a work-ready graduate, with the skills and confidence needed to launch your chosen career.

Our fees
Nottingham Trent University's tuition fees for full-time UK / EU students from 2012 are as follows.

  • Undergraduate degrees: £8,500
  • Foundation degrees: £6,500
