English language requirements for all research degree programmes

Either:

Overall IELTS 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in all component sections (writing, reading, listening and speaking) or:

Overall TOEFL iBT 94-95 with a minimum of 22 in all four component sections (writing, reading, listening and speaking).

  • Pearsons Test of English (Academic) (62 with minimum 51 in each skill) (54 with minimum 51 in each skill for Art and Design practice-based courses)
  • University of Reading (TEEP)
